Writer RIKO’s Diary 20 September.

Because we want to highlight women’s activities regularly, half of the people we interview in every issue are women. Many women who have started something are innocent, express their emotions, and speak frankly about their thoughts. Their attitude is full of energy and very powerful. Since the bursting of the bubble economy, Japan has experienced what is sometimes referred to as the “lost 30 years”, with the economy and many other areas remaining stagnant. Breaking through this situation will require new and different ideas and the ability to take action. Women’s activities can change society, and I will continue to approach my reporting positively.
